Can Quick Intense Cardio Training Be Better Than a Long Easy Workout?
It is becoming more and more apparent that intense cardio training is more beneficial than long easy sessions. These shorter more difficult sessions are referred to as interval training. In this article, I will give you a very basic overview of interval training.

Of course it would be great if we could just go all out 100% during a workout and then be done in ten minutes. Have you ever tried to sprint all out for ten minutes? By definition
this is almost impossible. Going at it 100%, your body can only maintain your highest power output for a much shorter duration than ten minutes. This is why they created interval workouts.
Go all out for a short period of time, then go at half speed or so to let yourself recover. Then repeat. That is the basic idea. You can maintain maximum effort for a short amount of time but then you must back off substantially to prepare for the next effort. When the workout is complete, maybe you will have been sprinting for 15 minutes. Sound good right? Training like this has been proven to be extremely effective. Intense training allows you to workout for less time while burning more calories. It is truly a wonderful concept.

Medicine Ball Cardio's workouts will naturally incorporate intervals in the program. This allows you to strengthen every muscle in your body, burn a tremendous amount of calories, and complete your workout in 20-30 minutes. How great does that sound?
